Satoshill keeps as little about you as it can. These are the cookies and the browser storage it uses. Nothing here is real money, and none of it is sold or shared for ads.
Needed to play (always on)
- Your sign-in (better-auth.session_token): 30 days, renewed while you play. Signing out deletes it, here and on the server.
- sh_dev: a random id for this browser, kept up to 400 days, so one person can't run accounts against each other. We store only a hash of it, never anything about your device.
- sh_city: the city you picked while signing up, 30 days.
- sh_consent: your cookie choice, 6 months.
- sh_in: that you've already gone into the game in this browser session, so opening the site again skips the "Welcome back" screen. Deleted when you close the browser.
Only with your OK (UK and EU visitors choose)
- sh_ref: who invited you, 30 days, so they get their referral reward.
- Anonymous visit counts (PostHog, when it's switched on). Without your OK they're kept in memory only, never stored on your device.
Your browser also keeps game drafts and what you've already seen. Signing out deletes them; your theme, sound and graphics settings stay on this device.
